Row 15 it's starting to take shape. So that's what 1,800 beads all lined up looks like. I have so many projects going on right now, I do not know what to do first. I am making a necklace and bracelet. I am finishing up my second scrap book for my daughters. Oh and my son wants a Persian chain Maille necklace for his 50 caliber shell he bought at the Navy Seal museum. I will be making christmas ornaments with bead weaving. Can't wait to start that one. I can't start until my mother comes to visit in November. She wants to learn how to bead weave. I thought it would be a good project for us.

I completed the tenth row on my Pirate Flag. It's starting to look pretty good. I can't wait until it is finished. It is very time comsuming. But I am enjoying it. I love working with my hands.

Well I finished 5 rows on my Jolly Roger today. My shoulders and arms are hurting. I went to the Doctor last week and they say I have protruding discs in my neck, causing pain in my arms. I will need steroid injections. I hope it works, I am so tired of the constant pain.

bead weaving

I have done so many weaving projects now. I enjoy it so much that I decided to make a pirate flag of beads. I drew it out on graph paper. I am using a square stitch. I have only done three rows so far. This is going to take a long time. Each row contains 120 beads. It is going to take 10,800 beads to complete.
